The Mission
JustSolve is a team of associates and leading experts in the field, allowing us to organize the right talent around any project or need.
We support collaborative, data-driven practices to help jurisdictions advance bold, forward-thinking reform, promoting safe, effective, and equitable outcomes for communities.
We provide consultation across reform initiatives, including system assessment, data-driven diagnostics, organizational change, and the development of community and nonprofit partnerships.
Since 2013, JustSolve has worked in partnership on initiatives aligned with its mission. These partners and initiatives have included:
Partnered with California Forward to develop the Justice System Change Initiative, conducting jail utilization studies to inform system improvements and safe alternatives to incarceration.
Worked with the Annie E. Casey Foundation on national initiatives including Deep End and Probation Transformation, helping reduce out-of-home placements and advance probation models, tools, and certification programs.
Collaborated with the W. Haywood Burns Institute to support implementation and expansion of the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) through system assessments and reform efforts in Ohio and other jurisdictions.
Partnered with California counties to evaluate programs for justice-involved youth, improve gender-responsive practices, conduct detention utilization studies, and assess probation operations.
Supported the California Office of Youth and Community Restoration in advancing California’s juvenile justice realignment by developing data tools, reports, and technical assistance strategies to help counties implement and monitor reform.
